Marbled sponge cake in Air fryer

Enjoy this recipe on how to make Marbled sponge cake in an air fryer. Prepare a rich marbled sponge cake ideal for your breakfasts and snacks.

Ingredients

  • 3eggs
  • 150 g sugar
  • 125 g natural yoghurt
  • 100 gr extra virgin olive oil
  • 200 g harina cheese
  • 12 g baker’s yeast
  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1 tbsp sugar for garnish

Steps

  1. Grease the baking tin with butter or with a release spray.
  2. Put the eggs and sugar in a bowl and beat them for 5 minutes with the wire whisk.
  3. While continuing to whisk, add the yoghurt and whisk for a few seconds.
  4. Add the oil in the same way and whisk again for 5 seconds.
  5. Add the sifted flour and the baking powder. Beat for just 1 minute. Finish integrating the dough with a spatula.
  6. Separate half of the dough into another bowl, add 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder with the help of a sieve, so that there are no cocoa lumps, and stir with a spatula. To this mixture, the one with cocoa, add 2 tablespoons of milk and stir.
  7. Add the vanilla extract to the other half of the batter.
  8. Pour the two doughs at the same time into the mould, mixing them together. Stick a skewer stick in until it touches the bottom of the mould and then make “eses” all over the dough. Put the spoonful of sugar on top.
  9. Set the air fryer for 25 minutes at 165 degrees. Finish with 3 more minutes at 160 degrees. The time depends on the material of your mould, so you will have to do your own tests.
  10. Take it out and as soon as it has cooled, unmould it and place it on a wire rack.

Chef’s Recommendations

This cake will keep well from one day to the next. To keep it, wrap it carefully in cling film when it is cold. The next day, unwrap it and sprinkle it with icing sugar using a sieve to give it that freshly baked look.

Breaded courgettes in Air fryer

Enjoy this recipe on how to make Breaded courgettes in an air fryer. Breaded courgettes make a perfect snack or an amazing side dish.

Ingredients

  • 2 medium courgettes
  • 1 cup flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Olive oil spray

Steps

  1. Wash and cut the courgettes into slices about 1 cm thick. It is not necessary to peel them.
  2. Prepare three deep plates. In one put the flour, in another beat the eggs and in the last one mix the breadcrumbs with the salt, pepper and garlic powder.
  3. Then dredge the courgette slices in the flour, making sure they are well coated. Shake off the excess.
  4. Dip the floured slices into the beaten eggs. Let the excess egg drip back into the dish.
  5. Finally, coat the slices in the breadcrumb mixture, pressing lightly so that it sticks well.
  6. Prepare the air fryer. Spray with a little olive oil spray and place the breaded courgette slices in a single layer, without touching each other. If necessary, do this in several batches.
  7. Spray the tops of the slices with a little more olive oil and set the fryer to 200° for about 10-12 minutes, or until golden brown and crisp. Halfway through cooking, turn them over so they brown evenly.
  8. Once cooked, let them rest for a couple of minutes before serving. Enjoy them hot, on their own or with your favourite sauce.

Chef’s Recommendations

The combination of the crispy batter and the soft, juicy interior of the courgette will surprise you. Plus, by using the air fryer, you get a healthier dish by drastically reducing the amount of oil needed.

Ingredients

  • 300 g garbanzo remojada

  • Two cloves garlic
  • Parsley and coriander
  • Salt, pepper
  • Half a teaspoon cumin
  • A creamy yoghurt
  • Half a lemon

  • Half a teaspoon of baking powder

Steps

  1. Soak the chickpeas in the refrigerator the night before.
  2. In a food processor, chop the onion, two cloves of garlic, a bunch of parsley and a bunch of coriander.
  3. Add the well-drained chickpeas on top and blend until smooth.
  4. Now add salt, pepper to taste, half a teaspoon of ground cumin, the yeast and stir until everything is mixed together, transfer it to a bowl and put it in the fridge for at least an hour so that the mixture takes on the flavours and more body.

  6. Carefully place them in the bottom of the fryer basket without touching each other, steaming with oil at 180 degrees for 12 minutes, then after 8 minutes open and turn them over so that they are cooked from below.
  7. Remove and serve on a platter with the yoghurt sauce we are about to make.
  8. In a bowl, whisk together the yoghurt, salt, pepper, the juice of half a lemon, the other garlic chopped as finely as possible and a bunch of coriander, also finely chopped.
  9. Ready to enjoy

Chef’s Recommendations

You can make them and keep them, I coat them with a little chickpea flour so that they don’t stick together, then all you have to do is fry them, they can also be frozen If you don’t like yoghurt sauce, replace it with mayonnaise and they are also very tasty.
