Lemon ribs in Air fryer

Enjoy this recipe on how to make Lemon ribs in an air fryer. Delicious ribs made with your deep fryer without oil. Please note, they need 4 hours to marinate.

Ingredients

  • 12 small ribs
  • 1 lemon (organic)
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt, pepper
  • .

Steps

  1. Remove the zest from the lemon. Peel the garlic and finely chop it in a mortar. Add the lemon zest and 2 tablespoons of olive oil.
  2. Add on top of the ribs, mix well, season with salt and pepper, cover with film and leave to marinate for 4 hours.
  3. Place 6 ribs in the deep fryer basket and cook at 180°C for 10 minutes, turning them over halfway through cooking. Repeat the process with the other 6 ribs.
  4. Serve immediately.

Vegan onion rings in Air fryer

Enjoy this recipe on how to make Vegan onion rings in an air fryer. Fancy some healthy onion rings without oil and fat? This oil-free deep fried version is perfectly crispy and delicious, without the added oil of conventional frying.

Ingredients

  • 2-3 onions (3 medium or 2 large)
  • 1/2 cup flour of choice (all-purpose, spelt, all-purpose, etc.)
  • 2/3 cup unsweetened vegetable milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon turmeric
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • For the dry mixture. 1 cup bread crumbs
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Steps

  1. Cut off the end of each onion, then peel off the outer skin. Carefully cut each onion into circular portions. Note the “layers” that make up each onion portion (like the pattern of a tree trunk). We will use two onion “layers” for each onion ring.
  2. Add all the wet mixture ingredients to a medium bowl and mix well.
  3. Add all the dry mixture ingredients to a separate bowl and mix well. Next, divide the dry mixture evenly into two separate bowls.
  4. Using separate hands for the wet and dry mixtures, dip each onion ring into the wet mixture, then transfer to the dry mixture and coat evenly with breadcrumbs.
  5. Place them in the fryer basket in a single layer at 204º for 8-10 minutes. Turn them over halfway through so that they brown evenly.
  6. Cook the healthy onion rings in several batches so that the basket does not fill up and they do not stick.

Not all oil-less fryers are the same, and times may vary slightly. This recipe has been tested in a Proscenic air fryer, but you can use one from another manufacturer without any problems. Pair these healthy onion rings with your favourite sauces and enjoy this tasty and healthy snack without worrying about fat.
