French Toast for deep fryer without oil in Air fryer

Ingredients

  • 2 eggs
  • ½ cup milk
  • 1 ½ teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 4 pieces of sliced bread each chopped into 3 pieces
  • ½ teaspoon butter
  • Honey, agave or jam to taste
  • Waxed paper (waxed).

Steps

  1. Remove the cooking basket from the air fryer and place the wax paper in the bottom, just the size of the surface, previously greased with butter.
  2. Mix the eggs, milk, cinnamon and vanilla extract.
  3. Dip the pieces of bread into the mixture and place them on the surface of the basket.
  4. Time for 5 minutes at 200°C.
  5. After 5 minutes, remove the toast and the paper. Place the toast directly back into the cooking basket with the browned side down. Program for 5 minutes more.
  6. Serve by pouring over the honey, agave or jam of your choice.
  7. Serving time: 5 minutes.

When cooking with aluminium foil or waxed paper, please make sure that the foil is pressed firmly against the pan or some kind of weight as the circulating air from the air fryer may remove the foil.

Garlic potatoes with spices in Air fryer

Ingredients

  • Three medium potatoes
  • Garlic powder, ground pepper, thyme, paprika, salt
  • Olive oil

Steps

  1. Wash the potatoes well and, leaving the skin on, cut into wedges at most one centimetre thick.
  2. Put half a teaspoon of paprika, half a teaspoon of garlic powder, half a teaspoon of ground pepper, half a teaspoon of thyme and a pinch of salt in a bowl and mix with a dash of olive oil.
  3. Using a kitchen brush, brush the potatoes until they are well soaked, then transfer them to the basket of the fryer, I use a silicone container so that they do not stain the basket and do not stick to the bottom.
  4. Set at 190 degrees for 20 minutes and halfway through the cooking time, open to stir and cook on all sides.
  5. Stir again and finally set for about 5 minutes at 200 degrees so that they are crispy and golden brown.
  6. Check that they are well done and ready to serve.
