Sardines with red sauce on skewers in Air fryer

Ingredients
- 15 sardines
- 1 lemon
- 1 sprig rosemary
- 1 tsp salt
- For the red sauce: 2 cloves garlic
- 150 g piquillo peppers
- 25 g peeled pistachios
- 10 g fried almonds
- 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tbsp sunflower oil
- 1 clove garlic .
Steps
- Clean the sardines or buy them already cleaned, removing also the central bone and obtaining the two loins of each sardine separately.
- Place the sardines in a deep dish, sprinkle them with a mixture of olive oil, lemon, and salt. Place the rosemary sprig on top, cover, and leave to marinate overnight, or at least 5 hours
- To make the red sauce for the sardines, sauté the garlic cloves in a frying pan over a low heat, and when they are ready, crush them with their oil in a blender jar along with the rest of the ingredients.
- Skewer each sardine loin with its juices on a skewer stick, placing three loins per stick. With the fryer preheated to 175º, introduce the sardine skewers and grill for 6-7 minutes.
