Cool potato omelette in Air fryer

  • 5 potatoes
  • 1 tablespoon of oil
  • Salt to taste
  • 6 eggs
  • Optional onion or any other vegetable you like (green pepper, courgette, etc.)


  1. Peel and chop the potatoes (if you cut them finely it helps the cooking process)
  2. Wash them well to remove the starch.
  3. In a bowl add a tablespoon of oil and mix with the potatoes (if you have an oil spray it will make it easier)
  4. Put the potatoes in the air fryer at 180° for 30 minutes. If your fryer has a potato programme, make the most of it.
  5. Stir every 5-10 minutes to cook them evenly.
  6. Beat the eggs, in this case I used 6 (but you can use more or less depending on the amount of potatoes)
  7. Add salt.
  8. When the potatoes are ready, take them out (you’ll know they’re ready because they’ll be crumbly and juicy)
  9. Add the beaten egg.
  10. Move the potato and egg mixture into the fryer at 140° for 6-8 minutes.
  11. Pour the omelette onto a plate and prepare to enjoy.

Chef’s Recommendations

If you are going to use onion, which not everyone likes, chop it into pieces that are not too small and fry them at the same time as the potatoes.If you are going to use courgette for example, wait until the potatoes are almost done as it releases a lot of water and cooks quickly.Enjoy!
