Vegan cauliflower wings in Air fryer

Ingredients

  • 1 cauliflower
  • 125 ml rice milk
  • 125 ml water
  • 100 g flour
  • 4 tbsp vegetable seasoning
  • For the marinade: 3 tbsp barbecue sauce
  • 2 tbsp tomato concentrate
  • 100 ml water
  • 1 pinch vegetable seasoning
  • .

Steps

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 200°C.
  2. Wash the cauliflower and separate into small florets. Mix the rice milk with the water and flour in a bowl. Season with 1 pinch of salt and the vegetable seasoning.
  3. Cover the cauliflower florets with the batter, letting the excess drip off. Cover the basket with baking paper and put the cauliflower sprouts in.
  4. Let them cook for about 5 minutes. Turn them over and cook for a further 5 minutes.
  5. For the marinade, bring the barbecue sauce, water, tomato concentrate and vegetable seasoning to the boil in a saucepan, stirring constantly for 10 minutes.
  6. Remove the cauliflower from the air fryer and place in a bowl. Add the marinade and mix well. Return the cauliflower to the basket and wait approximately another 5 minutes.
  7. Turn the cauliflower florets back over and cook for another 5 minutes. If they are still not crispy, leave them for another 5 minutes.
  8. Remove the cauliflower wings from the air fryer and serve.
