Stromboli in Air fryer

Enjoy this recipe on how to make Stromboli in an air fryer. Stromboli for deep fryer without oil.


  • 283 g chilled pizza dough
  • All-purpose flour, for dusting
  • 8 slices cooked ham
  • 3 slices provolone cheese
  • 3 slices mozzarella cheese
  • 50 g roasted red peppers, chopped
  • 1 g Italian seasoning
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 15 ml milk
  • 1 g salt
  • 1 g dried oregano
  • 1 g garlic powder
  • 1 g black pepper
  • .


  1. Let the dough rest at room temperature for 30 minutes.
  2. Dust the dough with flour and knead it until it is 6 mm thick.
  3. Layer the ham, cheese, peppers and Italian seasoning on half of the dough. Fold to seal.
  4. Mix the egg and milk. Brush top of dough with egg mixture.
  5. Sprinkle salt, oregano, garlic powder and pepper on top. Set aside.
  6. Preheat your air fryer to a temperature of 175°C.
  7. Place the strombolicada in the preheated air fryer.
  8. Cook at 175°C for 20 minutes. Turn the strombolicada for 5 minutes during cooking.

Chef’s Recommendations

We recommend that you try several times if they don’t come out perfect the first time. Take a reference from your oil-less fryer, if it needs more or less temperature with what is specified in the recipe. Not all fryers are the same, and times may vary slightly. This recipe has been tested in a Cosori air fryer, but you can use another manufacturer’s air fryer without any problems.
