Sponge cake in Air fryer
Enjoy this recipe on how to make Sponge cake in an air fryer. For breakfasts, school snacks or afternoon snacks, a fluffy, easy and rich chocolate sponge cake… delicious!
Ingredients
- 135 ml cream
- 200 g 70% dark chocolate
- 110 g sugar
- 75 g cornstarch
- 75 g wheat flour
- 2 eggs
- 12 g Royal baking powder
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 pinch of salt .
Steps
- Start by putting the flours and the baking powder in a bowl and mix it by hand.
- In a saucepan, put the cream, the sugar and the chocolate, and melt it all over a low heat. Leave it to warm before adding it to the bowl with the flours, and then add the rest of the ingredients: the eggs, vanilla and pinch of salt.
- With a whisk (electric or by hand), beat until you have a lump-free sponge dough.
- Preheat the air fryer to 200ºC, it will take you about 5 minutes at most. Meanwhile, pour the mixture into the mould and cover it with aluminium foil. Bake the chocolate sponge cake in the fryer at 190º for 10 minutes, and 30 minutes more at 170º. Always covered.
