Katsu pork in Air fryer

Ingredients

  • 2 pork chops (170 g), boneless
  • 56 g breadcrumbs
  • 3 g garlic powder
  • 2 g onion powder
  • 6 g salt
  • 1 g white pepper
  • 60 g all-purpose flour
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • Nonstick spray
  • Oil
  • .

Steps

  1. Place the pork chops in a zip-lock bag or cover with plastic wrap.
  2. Mash the pork with a rolling pin or meat hammer until it is 13 mm thick.
  3. Combine the crumbs and seasonings in a bowl. Set aside.
  4. Dredge each pork chop in the flour, then dredge in the beaten eggs and finally dredge in the crumb mixture.
  5. Preheat your oil-less fryer to 180°C.
  6. Poat the pork chops on each side with cooking oil and place in the preheated air fryer.
  7. Cook the pork chops at 180°C for 4 minutes.
  8. Remove them from the air fryer when done and let them rest for 5 minutes.
  9. Cut them into pieces and serve.

We recommend that you try several times if they don’t come out perfect the first time. Take a reference from your oil-less fryer, if it needs more or less temperature with what is specified in the recipe. Not all fryers are the same, and times may vary slightly. This recipe has been tested in a Cosori air fryer, but you can use another manufacturer’s air fryer without any problems.
