Chicken tears in Air fryer

Enjoy this recipe on how to make Chicken tears in an air fryer. A different and fun way to eat chicken. Both children and adults like it. Bon appetit!

Ingredients

  • 500g chicken breast or tenderloins
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp chopped parsley
  • Dried oregano
  • Wheat flour
  • Salt and pepper
  • For the sauce: 1 plain unsweetened yoghurt
  • 1 and a half tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp honey
  • 1 dash of lemon juice
  • Salt
  • .

Steps

  1. Start with the sauce. Whisk the yoghurt well (shake it well inside the container beforehand) and pour it into a bowl and add the rest of the ingredients.
  2. Put it in the fridge and leave it to rest and cool.
  3. Cut the breast into regular pieces, if you want them smaller as a snack, if you prefer, cut it into strips.
  4. Once cut, put it in a deep bowl and add the chopped parsley, garlic powder, salt, pepper, oregano and lemon juice.
  5. Let it marinate for two to three hours in the fridge. If you want to prepare it the day before, there’s no problem in the fridge, it’s great and will have more flavour.
  6. Remove the chicken without draining it and dredge it in flour, it doesn’t matter if the chicken is damp and gets more flour because it will get a crispier coating.
  7. Place the chicken tears in the air fryer at 180° for approximately 15 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Remove them from the fryer and serve with the sauce.

Chef’s Recommendations

You can use breadcrumbs or panko instead of dredging them in flour. When you have the mixture of ingredients where you are going to marinate the chicken you can add an egg and beat it and also add a spoonful of paprika, it will give it a rich and different touch. Now all you have to do is serve and enjoy!
